Claude comes to fetch your data.

- Once an administrator enables it, Claude can also act: prepare emails, manage drafts and calendar events, create and edit files.

- Delegated permissions: Claude only reaches what the signed-in user can reach. Existing rights are never bypassed.
- Your data stays in your tenant: content is read only for the specific task and file contents are not cached.

- Administrator control: who may use the connection and whether Claude may write at all.

Frequent questions
Do we need a special Microsoft 365 licence?
You need a work Microsoft 365 account. Personal accounts are not supported. You do not have to buy Microsoft 365 Copilot for this.
Which Claude plan do we need?
The connector works on all plans, the Office add-ins on paid ones. For companies we usually recommend a team or enterprise plan for central administration.
Will Claude see documents an employee cannot access?
No. Claude works with the permissions of the signed-in user, which is why we recommend reviewing access rights first.
Can Claude send emails on its own?
Only if an administrator explicitly allows it. Write access is separate from reading and can be limited or switched off.
Does Claude store our documents?
The connector reads content only during a given task and does not cache file contents; documents stay in your Microsoft 365.
How long does the rollout take?
The technical setup takes days. A full rollout with training and check-ins usually takes four to eight weeks.
We already pay for another AI tool. Is it worth switching?
On the consultation we compare what your current tool gives you and what would change. Sometimes switching helps, sometimes a combination does.
What if we need something the standard connection cannot do?
We build it — an automation, a custom agent over Microsoft Graph or an integration with your CRM or ERP.
